💖 How is it called?
We used to refer to our Omnipod Case as a "Cover," but as we gained popularity internationally, different translations began to emerge. For instance, in France, it is known as a "Coque Omnipod," while in Germany, it is called a "Housse Omnipod." In our own country, the Netherlands, we refer to it as a "Hoesje" or "Beschermhoesje" for the Omnipod.
💉 What is the Omnipod?
The Omnipod is an insulin pump that people with diabetes use to inject insulin into their bodies. They enter the amount of carbohydrates they consume on their PDM (Personal Diabetes Manager), and the Omnipod delivers the required insulin dose. The latest version of Omnipod, Omnipod 5, integrates with the Dexcom G6 for enhanced functionality.
